Frequently asked questions
Who is the crossover for?
It is for people who are already a certified freediving instructor with another agency and want to add Apnea Total or Molchanovs to their credentials, rather than train as an instructor from scratch.
What does the crossover validate?
You learn the teaching methods, standards and course structures of your chosen system, and validate your own performance requirements against it. After completion you are ready to teach under the new certification system.
How long does it take?
The crossover runs over five to seven days, depending on the system you are crossing into and your background.
Will my exact requirements be the same as everyone's?
Not always. Because crossovers depend on your existing agency and instructor level, the precise performance and paperwork requirements can vary. We review your current certification with you first so there are no surprises.
Taught through two recognised systems
- Molchanovs: the wave progression
- Apnea Total: clear, focused levels
